Dear Sandy

I am so grateful that I chose this book to read, having grown up in South Africa as a privileged white girl, I was educated through your book, about what really was happening in my country. Thank you so much for also explaining how we were kept from the truth, it was only once I started work with 15 black staff members that I began to learn about the hardships they were living and that was in the new South Africa. Your book was one I found incredibly hard to put down, grasping on every word and wanting to learn more. I will be recommending this book to anyone in Australia wanting to learn more about S.African culture as well as white South African's, a must do read. Having grown up in Kwa-Zulu Natal and having migrated to Australia 10 years ago, I loved being reminded of the beauty of S.Africa and the African culture and its people!! Thank you!!!
